Tuesday, Dec 6 - Treats from Pastaworks

Out making sales calls today. I decide to grab some tasty treats from Pastaworks SE for lunch. A salumetti from Molinari, some of Pastaworks garlic and salt focaccia, a bread stick, a Scharfenberger Nibby Bar, and two darling goat cheeses. I am calling them 'goat cheese cherries,' since the fromagerie put little stems in them. One has an ashen coating, the other was dusted with herbs. Very satisfying, but I am sure not too healthy.

For wine, we shared 2003 Vina Mein, 2003 DeMoor Chablis, 2003 AL Muvedre, 2003 Sierra Cantabria Rioja, 2001 Sierra Cantabria Rioja Crianza, and 2004 Clonakilla Shiraz 'Hilltops.'
