Saturday, Jan 7 - Bon Temps

CC and I head out shopping. I pick up a couple bowls at West Elm that are on killer deal right now (see picture to the right). CC buys a lot more than me. I refrain from buying a conical burr coffee grinder. Tough, but I have willpower, yes indeed.

We want to eat at Pata Negra, but they are closed for lunch, which I figured. We head up to Roux's Bon Temps deli, and both get the same thing, andouille po boys with coleslaw and chips. I get Boylan's black cherry soda, and she gets Bubble Up (a Sprite knock off). Delish. The gardener and the barrister join us for a snack, and I finish off the meal with a praline.
