Monday Nov 21 - Soup, not SF

I had hoped to hang out with SF tonight after she was out of class. Homework had to be done. How unfortunate. So, I pull out a batch of frozen tortilla soup and heat it up. A little fresh cilantro on top, along with a touch of fresh lemon juice. With beer (it is totally a beer meal). I turned the TV on to discover that college basketball season is finally back (if only in a pre-season, exhibition sort of way). Watched the Iowa Hawkeyes upset Kentucky. I've always been a bit of a Kentucky fan (even through, along with Duke, they are the team you love to hate). Tubby Smith coached my alma matter, UGA, before heading to Kentucky to replace Rick Pitino (who, in my opinion, foolishly left UK to coach the Celtics). Anyway, this strays way away from what I ate. The soup was spicier than I remember, and the fresh lemon and cilantro added a much appreciated high note. Tasty, and there is more thawed for lunch Tuesday!
