Monday, Dec 26 - Little Lunch

Thinking that a full breakfast of 2 eggs in the hole would hold me through until green curry tonight proved to be a false assumption. While taking Champagne to Cece's house and rescuing my camera, I was tempted with an offer of a bowl of soup. But, not just any soup, Caldo Verde (Portuguese Kale and Chorizo soup). Warm and tasty. Just what I needed.

This is apparently the national soup (maybe even national dish) of Portugal. Unfortunately, this is not my photo, and also, no Cece's soup, but a nice illustration of the dish nonetheless.
