Friday Nov 4, 2005 - 'Pizza Friday'

Every few weeks at work, we have what is known as 'Pizza Friday,' or 'Za Friday' for short. We order up a few Hot Lips Pizzas and drink some wine. Today was one of those days.

Lady E. is out of town, so I did the ordering. 2 pies, one large cheese (does it bother anyone else that the smallest size is 'large?') and one giant pepperoni (we usually get housemade pepperoni, but they were out of it today).

S.B. was still in town, so we 'revisited' the Il Cuore line-up (Chard, Cab, Sangiovese Blend, and Barbera). Also tried the 2003 Pride Mountain Merlot. And, Slim E. and I decided to throw a secret bottle into the mix, in a brown bag, none the less.

Everyone ate, drank, and was merry. S.B. guesses the right country of origin on the secret wine, and A.B. guesses the grape. It was a 2003 Portuguese Tinta Roriz. Tasty stuff.

Za Friday ended in a rousing game of Hangman on the blackboard. Slim E. created the last puzzle. The answer? Thom Sucks. Thanks E!
