Wednesday, Dec 28 - Leftover Curry

Why is it that rice on day 2 is so nasty? Pasty, slightly hard, really unpleasant. It's obviously a lack of moisture. How unfortunate. How else can you have rice for your leftover curry at the office (again, I am open for suggestions). I get back to the office around 3, do a bit of computer work, and heat up the curry around 4. No photo, as you can see the dish 2 posts below.

I find that if you splash just a teaspoon or so of water into the rice, and microwave it, it softens right back up. Also, the curry sauce should have softened it nicely, if you heated them together. Never as good as fresh steamed rice, but it works in a pinch. Of course, this technique deteriorates after Leftover Day 1.
