Wednesday Nov 9, 2005 - Waiting for Firewood

This morning, I am having my firewood delivered for the season. No more crappy fire logs for me. A half cord of mixed hardwood. I can't wait to start using it.

Waiting for the guys to arrive (they were 30 minutes late) gave me an opportunity to clean up from Apple Battle (info to be posted shortly, watch this space), to make coffee and toast for breakfast, and to make a sandwich for lunch.

Alma ate some beef, but hid under my bedspread when the firewood guys arrived. She is a real scardy-cat. For all the folks who have e-mailed asking about Alma, I've posted a photo of her here.
